Sherlock Holmes

Sherlock Holmes and Watson were hot on the trail of a suspect who had fled up into the Scottish Highlands. They stopped to rest one night, along side a mountain stream. As they lay in their sleeping bags Sherlock asks Watson, "Watson, what do you see?"

Watson opened his eyes, looked up and replied, "I see the big dipper, the milky way, Orion's Belt, the Seven Sisters, and a million other stars."

Sherlock queried again, "And so my dear Watson, What do you think this means?"

"Ah, it means we have a great big God, bigger than our entire galaxy. He is big enough to make all those stars and the entire universe - and yet He loves each one of us like we were His very best friend . . . What does that mean to you Sherlock?"

Sherlock replied, "It means: somebody stole our tent."
