For a few minutes, the parrot squawked and kicked, screamed; and then suddenly there was quiet. Not a peep was heard for over a minute, and John thought that he had hurt the parrot. So, he quickly opened the door to the freezer, and the parrot walked out onto John's outstretched arm.
The parrot turned to John, and he said, "I am sincerely remorseful for my inappropriate transgressions, and I fully intend to do everything I can to correct my rude and unforgivable behavior."
John was stunned at the change in the bird's attitude. He was about to ask the parrot what had made such a dramatic change in its behavior when the bird continued, "But could I ask just one question?
